Method 1 Keeping Your Shaker Clean

As soon as you’ve finished your shake, immediately rinse it with warm water.

Scrub the shaker out with soapy water and a scoured. You really need to get all of the bits out – protein powder turns rock hard if left to dry out on the inside of your shaker.

Leave your shaker upside on a drying rack, or, dry thoroughly with a towel.Never let your shaker sit in the cupboard wet – you’ll immediately regret it soon as you go to make your next shake

Appreciate the fact that cleaning it now means you don’t have to clean it later!

Method 2 Revive a shaker that hasn’t been washed for days

Have an initial rinse with warm water to get the left over liquid out. The shaker will most likely be filled with curdled milk and dried protein.

Boil the kettle. Add some washing up liquid to the shaker. Fill the shaker with boiling water and leave to stand for 5 minutes. This will loosen up all the dried content that is stuck to the sides

Carefully pour out the water and scrub with a scourer/sponge and soapy water as usual.
